Finally, Judge Mandisa Maya accepted her new position given by president Cyril Ramaphosa

The president of the Republic of South Africa, as well as the African National Congress, which is the leading party in the country, were both urged to nominate Justice Mandisa Maya to be appointed as the new Chief Justice of the Republic of South Africa.

This came as a result of the resignation of Justice Mogoeng-Mogoeng, the former Chief Justice of the Republic of South Africa, at the end of his term in office.

The Judicial Service Commission conducted an interview with the Chief Justice, and although they suggested Justice Mandisa Maya for the position, President Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa chose to select Justice Raymond Zondo to fill the vacancy created by that interview.

The President of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa, then proposed Justice Mandisa Maya to be the new Deputy Chief Justice of the Republic of South Africa, a position that she accepted.

In a recent announcement, it was stated that Justice Mandisa Maya had accepted the new job as Chief Justice of the Republic of South Africa, which had been offered to her by the president of the Republic of South Africa.
