Crime Justice

At Venda Ha Rabali a new born baby girl was found dumped wrapped in a black plastic.

In South Africa, it is illegal to abandon a kid, especially an infant, in a situation where the child is very likely to perish. However, cases of this offense are rarely brought to court. This occurs frequently because the offender—often the mother—cannot be found. When someone is discovered, they are frequently accused of murder.

In South Africa, child abandonment has a variety of factors. Restrictive laws, poverty, a lot of violence, including rape, extreme gender disparity, and dwindling family support are a few of these.

So it is still unbelievable that that a whole woman would carry a baby for a whole nine months and bond with the baby and feel the kicks and all the backache and for them to be able to throw their newborn away like a piece of trash.

Like this baby who was found abandoned inside a plastic bag in Ha Rabali in Venda Nzhelele, this caused alot of stir.
