It was reported that the corruption trial case of the former president Jacob Zuma was expected to return today on Tuesday, to the Pietermaritzburg high court. It was supposed to be held long time ago, but then it was postponed to Tuesday 17 April, as Jacob Zuma's health was not good enough for him to attend the trial. 
It is reported, that the case which was supposed to be held today, has been postponed again to 1 August 2022. Pietermaritzburg high court judge Piet Koen, postponed the trial to August, to allow Jacob Zuma to pursue an application with the supreme court of appeal. It's said that the actual trial will start on 15 August 2022.
