The alleged killer in the murder case of Nosicelo Mthembeni pleaded guilty to charges of murder and defeating the endsof justice . These were made on Monday when he made an appearance in the Eastern Cape High Court .
The State however revealed that it would challenge the minimum murder sentence to be increased from the initial 15 years .The accused Alutha committed the killing and went on to dismember the body . The upper body was placed in a suitcase , while the hands and the head were found in possession of the alleged killer .
The accused reportedly pleaded guilty to killing the former university student who was her girlfriend The 23-year-old´s death brought devastation to her family as she was a first gratuate . They were looking forward to her to uplift the family , but it was cut short .Alutha pleaded guilty to the charges before Judge Michelle Beneke .
