A TV personality and radio host Bonang Matheba sued a podcast host Rea Gopane after he made claims that he was told by Scoop Makhathini that allegedly Ms Bonang us a drug addict and she thought the famous Rap artist Keanan Forbes better known as AKA to use a well known drug cocaine. These news circulated after Aka's fiancee commited suicide late last year.

Rumours had it that Aka was intoxicated with heavy drugs that time following the pictures that circulated where he was breaking a door. Rea and his friend hosted a podcast and the accused, Rea Gopane kept making claims that Ms Matheba is a junkie. Not only did this reach a large number of followers but it reached ms Matheba. She fels disrespected and taken for granted. She demanded that Rea made a public apology which he first denied to do, that was up until Ms Matheba sued for defamation of character against Rea and asked for a 500k fine.
She posted now that the fine will be contributed to the Bonang Matheba foundation to help young women with their studies.
