The Sabbath Day Is Indeed The Special Day

Hector Pieterson was a South African schoolboy who was shot and killed at the age of twelve during the Soweto uprising, when the police opened fire on black students protesting on 16 June 1976, and today we South Africans kept this tragic day for our remembrance, and do celebrate it in various ways, and no one is questioning why are we celebrating the day because knowledge is in abundance concerning the events of the day. (This information you can get on Wikipedia).

We human beings always keep days were we experience both tragic and delightful events for our remembrance, and our forefathers have been doing that for ages, and that is why we have holidays in our calendars, including those we celebrate as communities and or families.

On 25 May 2020 George Perry Floyd Jr. was an African-American man who was murdered by a police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during an arrest after a store clerk suspected Floyd may have used a counterfeit $20 bill, and what is happening in American today, them also kept this tragic day for their remembrance, and do celebrate it in various ways, and no one is questioning why they are celebrating the day because knowledge is in abundance concerning the events of the day. These two events without belittling them, but really trying to show you, that both combined can never be more important than Sabbath day. True, families and the world were shocked, and still are not recovered completely from the hurt they suffered, but if God did not create the heaven and the earth, tell me would we be celebrating any day.

For the reason God created the heaven and the earth, we are today able to celebrate whatever day we feel deserve a special recognition, but we should not forget this, whatever we are planning to celebrate it will take place on this earth which was created by God.

Sabbath day it is the most important day because God after he created the heaven and the earth, he then rested on the seventh day, and he blessed it, and sanctified it. It is the only day that reminds us that what we sometimes ignorant to was actually created by the Almighty God.

Do you think if God did not create this earth you will be celebrating anything?

Where do you think you will be celebrating those special days of yours if there was no earth?

It doesn't matter if you don't respect him, but respect him for the fact that he created the earth for you and me to live in.
