Ngizwe Mchunu's Case Postponed

Former Ukhozi FM presenter Ngizwe Mchunu made a brief appearance at Randburg magistrate court in Gauteng, for the cases of encouraging violence in the community and breaking COVID-19 lockdown rules during the violence that happened in KwaZulu and Gauteng province.

Ngizwe Mchunu was arrested in Durban and sent to a court in Gauteng where he made an appearance before being granted with R2 000 bail.

It took less than five minutes to deal with Ngizwe's case as the postponing decision was taken from the start. This case was postponed to the 31st January next year. Speaking on eNCA, Phindi Mjonondwane who commented on behalf of the public prosecution unit said they believe there's another case Ngizwe has to attend to. He mentioned that the docket passed when check up was done to see if the case really exist, and that they hope Ngizwe's prosecution would be done accordingly.

Ngizwe who's a loyal fan of Jacob Zuma said he is glad that the former president was finally released from prison. He revealed that he hasn't spoken to him but all of this will change soon as he is planning to meet up with Zuma.

Ngizwe had been accompanied by Bonginkosi Khanyile and armed bodyguards at court.
