Dali Mpofu is a South African lawyer and politician who is the former National Chairperson of the Economic Freedom Fighters and has been serving on the party's central command team since 2013.

Mpofu has been serving as the Judicial Service Commission candidate for Advocates for Transformation (AFT) and his term has finally come to an end.
This happened after the long wait of selecting a Chief Justice between four candidates. In February, the JSC appointed Appeal Court President Mandisa Maya as the next judicial head. But President Cyril Ramaphosa made Justice Raymond Zondo the new Chief Justice.
"In 2017, Mpofu SC was elected to serve on the JSC for one term. At a later AGM in Port Elizabeth in 2019, Mpofu SC was re-elected to serve on the JSC," Dewrance said.
With Mpofu's term coming to an end, he has to step down and give space to the new Chief Justice. Justice Raymond Zondo will be taking over and we hope for the best.
