Well here we go again another Walus scandal as the wife of former SACP leader Chris Hani is fighting the court not to release the man who killed her husband. I mean it happened in front of their home after he was coming back from a meeting. What’s worse is that their daughter had to witness her father being gunned down. If you thought that was painful enough, we’ll his release will be met by a lot of people striking and this country will uprise again believe me. The youth and other politicians don’t want to see this man eat in a restaurant or let alone leave high while the Hani family suffer from what they had to go through.
Hani’s wife had to say something after finding out what the court want to do with Walus case. She said not only did the now 69 year old take,”the life of a father and husband, but also a man who, along with his comrades in the struggle, was an architect of and negotiator for our constitutional democracy”. Hani said in papers before South Africa’s apex court:” The crime was one that shook a nation that was crafting a new society to its core. They may say forgive and forget but some crimes will make you think twice. Let me know what you think.
