Mafisa Kgantso was handed a 15 year prison sentence in the Rustenburg Magistrate’s Court . This was the price for killing his girlfriend Ntswaki Matsobe in 2019.
The court also ruled that the 35 year old Kgantso was not fit to possess a firearm.It was reportedly heard in court that Kgantso and his girlfriend got into an argument in September 2019 when they were at a tavern .
In accordance with report , the convict, accused his girlfriend of having cheated on him and hence the attack on her . It was made known that he attacked his girlfriend and stabbed her multiple times, leading to her death.
It was also stated by the North West police spokesperson Adele Myburgh that the convict was also handed 12 months for assaulting Bochire Ramoadha at the same place.
