Jacob Zuma Might Be Released From Jail This Month, See Why

The family of Former South African president Jacob Zuma has reportedly asked that Jacob Zuma should be released from jail "with no criteria".

Jacob Zuma, 79, was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment for court contempt last month after ignoring graft investigators about his portfolio.

He was taken to Estcourt Correctional Centre on July 8, around an hour's drive from his residence in Nkandla.

"We want Jacob Zuma to be released with no criteria", a source quoted Zuma's son, Edward Zuma, saying.

According to the report, Edward had earlier showed that there were few things that his dad was not happy with in prison, "though we are okay with it, as far as our father will not be killed because we are suspecting that.

"Many things are there that they have been doing that make us to believe that they want our father dead. They do not want to see him alive and we want to say that they must stop doing what they are doing because we have knowledge about it. We want our father to come back very healthy and alive" he says.

Thanks for reading. Do you think he'll be released?
