Theft robbery

MaShelembe Did Not Get The Baby Shower She Deserved Because Someone Close To Her Stole Her Money

MaShelembe, the popular Mnakwethu Wife, was allegedly robbed of almost R20,000 by a lady named Mathonsi, who held her baby shower on September 25th in Richards Bay.

Rajaram Mvulane Attorneys, according to Isolezwe, MaShelembe's lawyers, are seeking that Mathonsi pay Mashelembe the complete amount of R20 940.

According to the lawyers, Mathonsi went to MaShelembe's house, requested her bank account, and accompanied her to the bank to verify that it was functioning.

According to the publication, Mathonsi then decided to put out a call for help with MaShelembe's baby shower.

MaShelembe's counsel claimed that after the money was transferred to her account, Mathonsi and Andy Brown called her on September 23rd and requested that she send R5000 to Andy's account, which she did. She was asked to pay R7 240 for the baby shower location once more.

She was also reportedly made to pay for Mathonsi's and her siblings' accommodation at Indaba Guest House.

Isolezwe also disclosed that the lawyer's letter confirmed that R8700 was stolen from MaShelembe's account on various days ranging from September 16th (R3000), 18th (R3000), and 20th (R3000) (2700).

According to reports, MaShelembe's lawyers have ordered Mathonsi to pay the money within three days, and she has also been compelled to submit letters of apology to MaShelembe, MaShelembe's family, and the South Africans who donated money.

According to SowetanLive, MaShelembe was supposed to hold two provincial baby showers, with another one planned for Saturday, September 26 in Durban at the Botanical Gardens by Ncumisa Ndelu. According to the publication, Ncumisa had to cancel the baby shower because she had another one scheduled for the same day.

"This morning I requested the name of a school closest to her to enable the driver to locate her easily," she said in a statement to the publication, adding, "This morning I requested the name of a school closest to her to enable the driver to find her easily." She then informed me that she would be heading to Empangeni on Friday. I then inquired as to how this was possible, given that we had agreed on the weekend and all it required.

"...all the women who wanted to love Makhosi...

The organizer made it plain that her plan was not flexible in the least, but she promised to talk to her committee and get back to me with a solution in an hour..." She was quoted in the publication.
