Jacob Zuma Announcement Regarding The Con Court Sentence

Former Jacob Zuma has came to speak to his supporters in Nkandla and also clarify his thoughts regarding the Constitutional Court Sentence.

Former Jacob Zuma was found guilty of Contempt of Court by the Justice Khampepe in the Constitutional Court. He was then sentenced to 15 months in prison and he is expected to report to Nkandla police station or Johannesburg Central police station within 5 days from the day of the sentencing.

Today is the fourth day of Zuma being at home and tomorrow is the last fifth day to go and report to any of the police stations listed above.

Zuma when speaking with his supporters, he then stated his thought about his sentencing and here is what he said:

"The Con Court said I should go to jail for 15 months and I have not done anything wrong. They are using the courts to fight their political battles and that is wrong. My lawyers suggested that they file a report indicating that the prison sentence is wrong and unacceptable. Leaders are misusing their absolute powers and now it is time they should know that they lead people." Jacob Zuma stated.
