Eswatini Nurses Strike Against Attending To Sickly Police Officials

Swazi News has reported that the nurses in Eswatini have begun a strike to not attend to some police officials.

Swazi News reported via their Twitter account that Nurses from parts of the country in hospitals have resolved to begin a protest. Their protest is against the violence taking place as police have shot some Swati civilians. These striking nurses then decided that they would not attend to police officers who are sick.

A video was also posted by the news agency as it shows the nurses who are on a strike.

On the video, the nurses are seen chanting songs as they march down a certain passage in a hospital.

Another scene in the video then shows nurses who have take the street as they are also chanting songs.

The protests in the country have turned bloody and have gained international attention as even South Africa’s president Cyril Ramaphosa has sent an envoy to engage the king.
