Zimbabwean Lawyer Admits On Newzroom Africa Motsoaledi Can Change Laws But This Must Happen First

A Zimbabwean attorney by the name of Simba Chitando admitted on Newzroom Africa that the ANC administration has the option to implement changes at the chief level, but it must be in accordance with the South African Constitution.

As a result of their permits being revoked, 182,000 Zimbabweans are now at risk of being deported from South Africa. It is estimated that Minister of Home Affairs Aaron Motsoaledi's decision, which was approved by Cabinet, will have a total impact on around 182,000 Zimbabweans. In November 2021, the priest decided not to reinstate the permits and granted the holders a one-year grace period to apply for "regular visas" or leave the country.

It was unlikely that many Zimbabweans would meet all conditions for different visas, given that nothing negative can be stated about the country, and even if they had applied, it was unlikely that the division would have processed them. Zimbabweans are not evacuees.

Due to the priest's decision, ZEP holders were denied access to South African banks and traffic divisions throughout the recess, in addition to facing vulnerability and anticipating that their families would be torn apart. How do you interpret this? Please write a comment underneath.
