Clover strike | Unions not backing down (msn.com)

JOHANNESBURG - Unions representing disgruntled Clover workers say they are now not backing down without a fight.

The dairy massive is making plans to retrench over 1,000 human beings.


Employees affiliated to the Food and Allied Workers Union and the General Industrial Workers Union of South Africa are assembly in Tembisa on Saturday.


Giwusa president Mametlwe Sebei stated, "there's restructuring within the organization, which could in general bring about task losses of over 1,four hundred. There is also an trouble with salary cuts and freezes which individuals are rejecting."
