According to the statement of Mmusi Maimane, only 8 percent of rape victims are getting justice in South Africa.
The police station had the third highest number of cases in South Africa, let's not forget that today it's woman's day but instead of celebrating our beautiful mothers and sisters we're crying because they're being killed, abused as well as raped.
Another pandemic in our country needs to be dealt with.
Mmusi Maimane is at the police station because he is seeking help on how we're supposed to help and improve the conviction rate. It's very painful to say that our rape victims only a few are getting justice. I'm glad to leaders like Mmusi Maimane taking a stand against gender-based violence.
