Zimbabwean laws does not accommodate Gay people

The South African media personality, actor and choreographer Somizi Mhlongo could not believe the kind of treatment he got from the Zimbabwean gorvenment after he was being blocked by the Churches in Zimbabwe and the leading party ZanuPF. The churches in that country wrote to the president Mnangagwa to stop Somizi from coming to their country as there was an event that he was invited as a guest.

It is believed that all these was done because of Somizi's sexuality. In Zimbabwe, Lesbians and Gay are not living their lives freely unlike here in South Africa. Here is South Africa we have the best laws and if only they can just be followed, South Africa can be a better country. As much here in South Africa we have laws that accomodate Gay people, we should also take note that other African countries are still very far behind.

Many South Africans were not happy about this because of the fact that there are so many Zimbabweans in this country and some of them are here illegally. The only thing that we should focus on is to enforce our laws. We can learn something from the Zimbabweans. We can not blame or critisize them for enforcing their laws.
