The National Prosecution Authority says Qoza had some awareness of this and conspired with another lady, Ntombikayise Khambule, to ransack him.

They employed a hired gunman.

KZN NPA representative Natasha Kara says Salajee was denied of the cash and put it into the boot of his vehicle.

The older man was then shot and killed.

The two ladies were imprisoned by the Umlazi Magistrate's Court on Friday.

"The hired gunman passed on a month after the episode while the ladies were in this manner captured.

"They were condemned to life detainment for homicide, 15 years detainment for burglary and five years detainment for seizing. They will serve a viable term of life detainment."
