The former president of the country Jacob Zuma is challenging the high court today in Bloemfontein, after ruling that his parole was illegal and he must return to prison after Arthur Fraser decided on realising him last year because of his health.
But things got hectic last week when the high court made a ruling that his parole was not legal and the correctional services didn't follow proper procedures.
Zuma has taken this to the Supreme Court of appeal in Bloemfontein today to challenge this ruling and he still believes that this we're made by political motives.
It looks like it will be a long day for him because the public has been following this case for a long now, and this might cause a serious fight in the country, after the looting that took place last year due to his arrest in his home.
Will this ruling affect the Anc conference later this year?
