The order was shown on Monday without objection

The National Prosecutor's Office (NPA) issued a provisional detention order earlier this year.

The order also applies to certain property of her daughter, Brumilda Smith, and the property of other persons or entities suspected of receiving affected gifts under Section 12 of the Organized Crime Prevention Act (POCA)

according to Investigating spokesperson Sindisive Seboka. The directorate has already been mentioned.

"The order became critical to property ownership, even as investigations led to additional illegal activity that Smith exploited corrupt profits now not disclosed to SARS [South Africa Revenue Service] or the Secretary of State's Member of Parliament."
