Kelly Khumalo Could Be Charged With This Relating To The Murder Of Senzo Meyiwa

Kelly Khumalo, a singer, might face charges of perverting the course of justice in connection with the death of her partner, Senzo Meyiwa. That is if the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) decides to charge her after the conclusion of an ongoing court case.

This comes after the brother of murdered former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa argued that the five men on trial for his murder are being framed. The case has been rescheduled for April 11th, seven years to the day following Meyiwa's death in 2014. The state and the defense reached an agreement on a trial date of 11 April 2022 to 29 April 2022. The trial will then continue from May 30 through June 17, 2022. While the accused will be imprisoned with no chance of freedom. Meyiwa's brother, Sifiso Meyiwa, declared immediately after the court's judgment that the five people accused of his brother's murder are being framed.

"I believe the case should now be sent to the president. The president must now step in because the country has lost trust in his government. Initially, the minister of police, Bheki Cele, agreed with us [on the real culprits] since we both knew them, but he has now come out and said it's these five guys. I'm very powerful because I'm a God-fearing man, I believe in God and don't fear anyone." Meyiwa said. This situation is becoming more convoluted by the day.

Just as everyone felt justice had been done for the former Orlando Pirates goalie, his brother comes along with a significant twist to the narrative. Now that I am in a position where I am unsure whether the accused individuals on trial in court are the true perpetrators or not, I trust the truth will be disclosed in due time. Please let us know what you think about the new development on Meyiwa's case in the comment section below.
