The man who gave Zuma medical parole don’t want Zondo to be the next Chief Justice

https://twitter.com/zanewsflash/status/1450516908701372421?s=21

As the nomination for the position of the Chief Justice has closed , people are already putting objections to people they do not want .

At this stage the Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has already being objected by two people the other one is the Former commissioner of Correctional services , Arthur Fraser.

Arthur Fraser objection was  sent through Mabuza Attorneys. Arthur Fraser came to spotlight in September when he gave the former president Jacob Zuma a medical parole after he was arrested for defying the constitutional court judgement compelling him to go to the Zondo Commission.

The perception is that those who are objecting Zondo not to become the Chief Justice are doing this because they fear what they have done during the state capture era which Zondo is presiding over its enquiry.

“Arthur Fraser and other people are just wasting their times. Ramaphosa will appoint Zondo, if he wants Zondo regardless of what they think” the twitter user said .

It is believed that even though a person or an organisation has objected the candidate the president can still appoint if he feels like doing so .

President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to appoint Zondo or Dustin Mlambo who is the Judge president at Gauteng.
