Ramaphosa's partner succumbs to pressure and steps down

There was a public objection after it was found that Judge C Lamont from South Gauteng High Court is really an accomplice of President Cyril Ramaphosa. Judge Lamont is an investor of Sibanye Mine along with Ramaphosa and he was managing the Marikana Massacre case which is including Sibanye. Last week when Ramaphosa showed up in court, Lamont was requested to venture down however he denied. He said had he sold his offers the day preceding the Ramaphosa's appearance and has now cleared the contention.

Nonetheless, tension built and he has now surrendered to the pressing factor and recused himself as managing judge over a matter including his now previous organization Sibanye Still Water where he had shares, and the Marikana survivors who are indicting President Ramaphosa.

Judge Lamont's recusal of himself from the Marikana Massacre common case is the proper thing to do. This case should be finished as quickly as time permits, to put a stop on the politicization of the August 16 2012 occasions. The people who are responsible should pay.

Why was Judge Lamont an investor in any case? Judges have life-time advantages which is as it should be. The way that he even endured a recusal hearing is hazardous. He shouldn't have taken the case. Base and klaar!
