DEAR SOUTH AFRICANS: No woman deserves to go through the same pain she did until her brutal killing

If you are South African and reading this , please step up and initiate that change towards Gender-based violence. Women are people who need to be loved and protected from all forms of harm .

However, the late Namhla Mthwa who was killed on the 21st of April 2022 went through abuse for years before she was killed in a hail of bullets when she had come from work.

The Facebook updates by her sister reflecting on the life Namhla allegedly went through at the hands of her boyfriend were heartbreaking. There is no woman in South Africa or anywhere else in the world who deserves to go through such pain.Not even the sister of Namhla deserves such pain of losing a loved one in such a brutal manner having experienced abuse for years.

It is painful that police are yet to provide them with a positive feedback.Reading the above status update makes it clear regarding how the late was abused .Namhla was allegedly made to stay in a relationship that she nolonger had interest in .She would have to ask for permission to do anything.
