During the time of elections, we never heard anything concerning the covid19 pandemic and all of the sudden because the elections are over, we start hearing things that are really concerning. The way things are happening, it is very easy for one to conclude that the covid19 is being operated. It can either work against you or for you depending on which side you are on.
According to NICD, the testing summary for week 43 revealed the percentage testing posive was 1.4%, the lowest it has ever reached since the start of the pandemic. This does not not make sense at all. They now want to come and blame the elections on this low percentage and so that we can start seeing increasing number of cases. They will also say that people were not testing because they were concentrating on elections. It is about time that we start to brace ourselves, because we might just find ourselves having a hard lockdown right in December holidays like we saw in the last year.
The week 43 epidemiology also shows that there was a 32.2% in the number of new cases detected and Gauteng province has reported the highest number of cases detected.
In the last 24 hours, the number of people who tested positive for Covid-19 is 319 which represent a 1.0% positivity rate and the number of Covid-19 related deaths recorded for the last 24 hours is 31 taking the total death toll to 89,251.
In the last 24 hours the province that has reported the lowest number of positive cases is Limpopo with just 7 new cases,North West with 17, Eastern Cape with 24,Northern Cape 26 and Mpumalanga 26 New cases.
Current numbers are so low and it won't come as a surprise if these number just out of nowhere increase exponentially.
