South Africa recorded 16 366 new instances of COVID-19 as of now, the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) has said on Saturday.


WHAT IS THE TOTAL NUMBER OF CONFIRMED CASES TO DATE?


This brings the complete number of lab affirmed cases to 3 020 569.

This expansion of 16 366 new COVID-19 cases addresses a 23.8 % energy rate.


A further 21 COVID-19 related passings have been accounted for, carrying complete fatalities to 89 965 to date.


WHAT IS THE CUMULATIVE NUMBER OF RECOVERIES?


"The combined number of recuperations is 2 855 474."


Most of new cases is in Gauteng: 11 607, trailed by the Western Cape with 1 017 new cases and KwaZulu-Natal with 1 002 new cases, Mpumalanga with 743 and Limpopo with 638 new cases in the territories.
