The introduction of the new Omicron variant of the Covid-19 infection seems to be taking South Africa one step forward and two steps back, as the rise of infections has once again called for desperate measures and safer strategies.

The new variant has been detected by scientists and doctors in several countries, and the variant has already seen the infection numbers rise again in South Africa.

President Cyril Ramaphosa once again addressed the nation on Sunday, following the introduction of the new variant and the president has a few suggestions to fight the new variant which are more mutated than the previous variant.

The President had announced that a third shot of vaccine is implemented by doctors which would aid as a booster to fight against the Omicron variant.

Ramaphosa also proposed that the administration of the Covid-19 vaccinations should be made mandatory for everyone to take to fight against the spread of infections.

Businesses has now backed up President Cyril Ramaphosa's proposal to make the vaccination mandatory. Bussiness owners already rolled out the vaccination of employee's before the knowledge of the Omicron variant, so it won't even be shocking news that they are backing up the proposal of a mandatory decision.

Vaccination is still believed to be the most viable solution while the virus are growing from variant to variant and wave after wave.
