A call that was made by WHO regarding HIV patients

The director of the World Health Organisation reportedly said that those who live with HIV are the ones that need to be considered first to receive the third dose of the Covid-19 jab .

The leader of the organisation´s Golbal HIV , Hepatitis and STI Programmes , Meg Doherty reportedly highlighted these on Tuesday in Durban at the International Conference of AIDS where there were ongoing discussions .She said that even though some had not yet received their first and second doses , there had to be certainty that the third dose got administered .

It was also highlighted that the vaccine doses were also important for people living with HIV as much as those living with comorbidities .Meg went on and stated that they had been asked to develop a pandamic preparedness treaty which would ensure that people with comorbidities , including those living with HIV would not be left out .
