Revealed: New Covid-19 Variant Originated From An HIV Positive Person.
Omicron has been making waves all around the world. The discovery of the virus has lead to some countries banning travel as they fear the new variant.
The new variant was suspected to have mutated from the Delta variant. The Delta variant which we experience during the third wave was more infectious and got more people sick. The Omicron variant which has 30 mutations was expected to have mutated from the Delta variant however this is not the case.
According to A South African virologist, Omicron seems to have originated inside the body of someone who has HIV or Cancer. Not only does the person have HIV but has also not been taking treatment for HIV or vaccinated for Covid-19.
Because of the weak immune system of peoole living with untreated HIV, Covid-19 can stay longer in the body of that person. This provides the virus enough time to mutate and live better in human bodies.
