Opinion : Here are 3 things Cyril Ramaphosa may speak about if he addresses the nation.

Usually, when things get really bad or are about to get really bad in South Africa, our President comes out to address us. This is always much needed as he provides us with clear instructions and gives us the comfort of knowing that him, along with others are addressing the situation. While he has not addressed us about Monkey pox yet, now that it's been declared a global pandemic and a couple of cases have been found in South Africa, there's a good chance he might. Here's what we think he will speak about.

One : Vaccines

This is something people are always anxious about, as South Africans are split on vaccine's, with some people who want to take them and others who don't. If Cyril Ramaphosa does address the nation, than I believe he will alleviate the fear of South Africans by telling us whether the vaccine is safe or not, while explaining how taking it can help stop Monkeypox.

Two : Bans and Lockdowns

Depending on how Monkeypox spreads and how quickly it spreads, some bans and lockdowns may be put in place to stop it from spreading. In the same way that bans and lockdowns were put in place when Covid 19 first started spreading in South Africa.

Three : Financial help

The SRD grant was put in place when Covid 19 first started, however times have changed and things have gotten more expensive. Which is why I personally hope that the president puts in a new grant to help people living in poverty or at least raises the SRD grant.

My Opinion :

While no announcement has been made yet on when or if the president will address the nation, I urge South Africans to follow the news as an announcement can be made at any time.

Do you think the president will address us, tell me in the comments section and follow for more lifestyle news as it happens.
