The last Covid-19 Statistics for Zimbabwe released a few hours ago

The Zimbabwe Ministry of Health and Child Care released some statistics regarding Zimbabwe's Covid-19 information for Saturday the 22nd of January. The country continued to record record new Covid-19 cases , even though the cases are now decreasing .

The number of new positive Covid-19 cases in the country according to the last statistics stood at 218 . The province that contributed the highest number of new positive Covid-19 cases in Zimbabwe was Manicaland that has 65 new cases .

Manicaland was the only province that recorded more than 50 cases s of Saturday . The province that provided the second highest number of new Covid-19 cases in Zimbabwe on Saturday was Masvingo with 36 new cases , while Mashonaland West was on 30 . There was Mashonaland East province that recorded 29 new Covid-19 cases .It is great to note that some provinces recorded less than ten new daily Covid-19 cases . There were for example areas like Bulawayo and Harare which recorded the lowest number of new cases .

Zimbabwe's Second capital , Bulawayo recorded a lowest figure of only 4 new Covid-19 cases .Harare on the other hand , which is the capital city of Zimbabwe had the second lowest number of new Covid-19 cases . There were 5 new cases that fell under Harare . Only Harare and Bulawayo recorded the cases that were less than 10 .

Zimbabwe has so far recorded a total 228 179 cases since 2020 . The active number of Covid-19 cases now stands at 9894 . The province that has the highest number of active Covid-19 cases in Zimbabwe is Mashonaland East that has 2 774 active cases .
