President Cyril Ramaphosa moves SA to alert level 3:

Here is a summary of what the President has said:

1. For the past 14 days, covid-19 cases has decreased by 20%

2. Schools will re-open

3. Curfew remains at 10pm, places like restaurants close at 9pm to allow employees to travel back home before the curfew time.

4. The alcohol ban is lifted, effective immediately. Alcohol will be sold from Monday to Thursday.

5. The social relief fund will be reinstated until March 2022.

6. SASRIA, will ensure that businesses that were victims of the unrest in some parts of South Africa, and were insured, get reimbursed.

7. Other small business which were affected will also be assisted by the state.

8. Inter-provincial travel for leisure is now allowed.

9. People between the age of 18 and 34 will be allowed to vaccinate for free in September.

10. There will be further arrests of the kingpins of the looting that took place.
