Here is when the Pfizer booster shots will be availed following the approval by the SAHPRA

The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority approved the request that was made by Pfizer to administer booster shots in order to increase the effectiveness of the evaccine .

Pfizer had submitted its application on the 17th of November , and the health regulator took its time to study the data that had been provided .

WHEN WILL PEOPLE BE ABLE TO GET THE THIRD BOOSTER SHOTS?

Since Pfizer has been given the green light to administer booster shots , people may be wondering when they will be getting the boster vaccines .

Those above the age of 18 may receive booster shots after being fully vaccinated . However , they can only get the booster shots six months after they have received the second shot .

Those members of the public who are 12 years and below , plus having underlying conditions are eligible to receive the booster shots 28 days after receiving the second shot .
