A case of Ebola has been recorded after almost 5 months of no new cases in Congo.
Ebola is a disease that can cause major headaches, fever, vomiting and diarrhea. It can easily be spread through bodily fluids.
The first case has been confirmed by the health Minister of the country. In the past Congo has gone through 11 outbreaks of the disease since 1976.
The disease continues to torment the citizens of the affected countries and itt is deadly. In one particular outbreak from 2018 to 2020 over 2200 people died from contracting the disease.
Some of the victims have been children under the agees of 10. It is fairly easy for the disease to spread because of the overpopulation in most places in Congo.
It is important for people to be careful to avoid contracting the disease because it can be deadly and really difficult to cure.
