Opinion: Ramaphosa is tired, he didn't mean to sleep at the funeral
While you're here, please follow me.
Now, it is good that the president was willing to go support the affected families of the Enyobeni Tavern deaths. On the flipside, he was captured sleeping and only woke up when his security guards rung a bell next to him.
This has been declared a lack of remorse on his end but I think we are being unreasonable. The man moves from one event to the next, he's tired. The same way we can find ourselves dozing out at church is the same way he slept at the burial. I'm not saying it's right or paints a good picture, but he's not a robot. Sleeping doesn't mean he's the closest thing to the devil. He's human after all. Imagine how he must feel knowing from the burial he needs to head to another venue for something important as well.
Thoughts? Do you think it's fair to say Ramaphosa lacks remorse because he slept during the funeral service?
