"So The Tech Billionaire Will Buy Him Another Term" Reaction To Cyril's COVID Vaccine Plant Launch.
It's no more news to South Africans that our President, Cyril Ramaphosa, a few days ago launched a Covid-19 vaccine production plant in the heart of Cape Town. Which hopes to produce a billion Covid-19 vaccine doses by 2025.
According to the news made public on News 24 website, South African scientists and architects are racing against time to start producing Covid-19 vaccines at the newly launched NantSA vaccine manufacturing campus.
This comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa and Dr Patrick Soon-Shiong, founder of the multinational conglomerate NantWorks, LLC launched the fully equipped NantSA vaccine manufacturing building at Brackengate in Cape Town.
Soon-Shiong said the NantSA’s state-of-the-art vaccine manufacturing campus is part of a broader initiative to propel Africa into a new era of health science.
This comes after records made public African Vaccine Acquisition Task Team managed to secure over 500 million vaccine doses for the continent. Which is just a little under half what's needed to fully get the continent vaccinated.
However it's rather unfortunate that to this new feet, it only shows that the president is rather more active with duties when it's time to talk about Vaccination. Not when millions are crying for lack of jobs, not when it's time to fix gang violence, robberies and corruption in politics.
This has got tongue wagging in dissatisfaction, with one lady revealing that Ramaphosa is very active in this duty because he's expecting massive support from the Tech Billionaire, Soon-Shiong, to gain him access to another tenure as the president of South Africa.
Some adding that politicians bowing to international billionaires is only to enrich their own selves. Others saying natural remedies are the only way forward, Here are a few comments below;
"Next thing he is forcing us to vaccinate so that the tech billionaire can buy him another term."
"We will bringing our natural African products to make our African vaccine, we don't want Chinese to rule us."
"The problem is not vaccines but the boycott mentality by our people. They can produce as many vaccines as they like but who gonna use them."
"This president was voted in power to implement Covid regulations and to advertise vaccines."
