Covid19 SA // Mandate vaccine has left Health Union divided

"As President Cyril Ramaphosa arrives back in the country after a four-nation visit to West Africa, he’s expected to grapple with the Covid-19 pandemic. He will go into a briefing with the National Coronavirus Command Council, which could see an adjustment in lockdown levels going into the festive season. eNCA's senior reporter Aviwe Mtila found out from health unions if their members are equipped for the fourth wave."

The mandate of vaccine policy has turned the country alley as majority of people are against it. The president says people should get vaccinated so that the country can have a chance to recover the economy from what they have lost. Over 5 million people in South Africa are still refusing to take the vaccine. However, the president is still outside calling for everyone to get the jab as soon as possible.

The president will brief the nation after the meeting results with the coronavirus council.
