Breaking News | Cyril Ramaphosa Makes Big Decision About New Lockdown Restrictions | See This

President Cyril Ramaphosa has finally delivered his long awaited and much appreciated National Adress, and he said that the fourth wave of Corona Virus (Covid-19) infections is expected to hit South Africa in early December, and he also said that the Covid-19 positivity rate has increased drastically from 2% to 9% in the space of a week, the President also expressed concern over the recently identified Corona Virus 'Super-Variant'.

However, despite the drastic increase in Corona Virus cases in the country, and the new and more infectious Corona Virus 'Super-Variant', the South African government has decided against implementing new Lockdown restrictions in the country, meaning that there will not be any new Lockdown restrictions.

"In taking the decision not to impose further restrictions at this stage, we considered the fact that when we encountered previous waves of infection, vaccines were not widely available and far fewer people were vaccinated." - Said The President.
