Cabinet has extended the National State of Disaster to 15 December. It says this will continue to assist in the fight against the coronavirus.
The new viriant is already about to cause a panic in South Africa as cases continue to rise.South Africa has recorded 2465 new case with a death toll of 114 as of today.Positivity rate surges to 6.5%.
The big question is,will South Africa survive another harsh lockdown? With the economy at it's worst and people having lost their job from the first lockdowns people don't want to see themselves going that route again
The conspiracy theories have started again saying the government is orchestrating this whole thing. No one wants the world we saw ourselves living during the harsh lockdowns.
Lives also needs to be saved because there'll be no people going back to work if people die from the virus.Though we cannot shy away from the fact that South Africa isn't strong enough economically to go through this again.
Should we be taken back to harsher lockdowns? Will the society adhere to the rules and regulations it comes with?
