Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba arrives at the home of a centenarian.

The roll out vaccination continues within the corners of the province. The health department continues to encourage elderly people to get their vaccine jab. The number of new cases daily keep shooting the sky and left the citizens with big fear. Last week we saw teachers getting their first jab and this week police officers are getting their jab to fight the pandemic. The health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba arrives at the home of a centenarian (122) at Tlatsa village in Mopani District to vaccinate the old woman who was born in 1899. She visited our vaccination site at Kgapane Hospital to be vaccinated and the EVDS rejected her and was sent home. The MEC through the outreach vaccination program opted to visit her home to vaccinate her. Today gogo got her first Pfizer jab and will receive the second dose after 42 days. Let's keep sanitazing our hands, respect the social distance. The number of active case this winter is more higher than first and second wave. Families are losing, children, mothers, sisters, fathers and bread winner.
