Bad news for people with Disability

Sassa reserves the right to grant or deny any applications but dismissed applicants have 90 days in which to appeal.

The turnaround time of payment after the application has been approved is up to 7 days. You get a permanent disability grant if your disability will continue for more than a year and a temporary disability grant if your disability will last for a continuous period of not less than six months and not more than 12 months. A permanent disability grant does not mean you will receive the grant for life, but that it will continue for longer than 12 months.

Temporary disability grant beneficiaries will not be paid, and are now rushing to secure the medical paperwork they'll need to reactive their payments – amid a burgeoning coronavirus crisis for the health sector and Alert Level 3 restrictions on movement.

It's really bad news for people with Disability worse part is that this people can't do anything because are disable. Government must quick make a plane about this issue and resolve it.
