1.Keep track of your calories
Calories refers to the amount of energy that is emitted from food once it's broken down or digested by the body. To put it in the concept of fitness, when you consume more than what is required by your body, there's what we call "access calories". This is what makes you to gain weight and struggle to lose it.
— Use the traditional pen and paper approach to track the amount of calories which you consume. Where can you see this? On the products label which is usually situated at the back.
— A gram of carbohydrates or proteins refers to four calories. The more grams a product have, the more calories it has.
— Average amount of calories that should be consumed is 3,500.
2.Consume more fiber
There are a lot of benefits that are associated with fiber. One that stands out for me is the fact that it can tame your hunger and slows down your digestion. Which means that you don't easily get hungry. We have named affordable food that contains high concentration of fiber below:
— Pears, Apples, Avocado
— Bananas, Carrots, Oats
3.Walking makes the dreamwork
I know that a lot of people don't like exercising that much, but it doesn't have to be that way because there are tons of ways that you can use to lose weight and walking is one of them. There's also a study that was conducted to prove the effects of waking on losing stomach fat.
— Start small and make it a habit. A one minute walk is better than doing nothing.
— As you start building momentum, increase the time you spend on walking each day until you reach atleast 30 minutes.
