Covid-19 Information for Zimbabwe : 4 people reported dead in the latest information that was released
Covid-19 is not only spread from one person to the next , it is also responsible for some deaths that are recorded in Zimbabwe. This is the reason why there must not be any complacency whn it comes to the pandemic . The last round of information that was released showed that there were people who had died.
It is sad to note that there were four people who were declared to have died from the pandemic in the previous 24 hours . In accordance with the information available , the total number of people who have lost their lives to Covid-19 now stands at 5 247. Besides the fatalities , there were 144 new Covid-19 cases that were identified by the Department of Health.The figure recorded implies that Zimbabwe has now managed to identify 22 078 positive cases of Covid-19 cases since 2020 . As for the daily new infections , Mashonaland East recorded the highest number and was on 29 .Other provinces which managed to record above 20 daily cases were Manicaland and Masvingo as they both recorded 22 cases .
Still on the daily infections , there are some provinces that managed to record less than 10 new daily cases on a single day . Midlands province was the province that managed to record the lowest number of daily cases In Zimbabwe as it only had three new cases .Mashonaland Central was one case above Midlands , as it had four new cases . Some of the provinces that managed to record less than 10 new cases on a single day were Masvingo and Bulawayo . This was because they managed to only have seven new positive Covid-19 cases on the 16th of January . Stay safe and always make sure that you wear your mask .
