Scientist warns that this new virus can kill fifty percent of people it infects, if it evolves.

The world has currently united to fight the Coronavirus, and in many places we are succeeding. However new information is on the horizon for another deadly virus. A scientist has come out to warn the world that if this new virus evolves like the Coronavirus did, than we may have a huge problem on our hands. Here's what you need to know.

The Deadly Nipah Virus :

Even though the Nipah Virus has been around for a while and has had a few outbreaks in recent history, it was mostly suppressed and the outbreaks were successfully stopped. However it recently resurfaced when it was confirmed that a twelve year old boy had died from it in September. Now one scientist has come out to the world to warn us of how dangerous it can really be.

It's being claimed that unlike the Coronavirus, which kills about one percent of the people it infects, The Nipah Virus kills fifty percent. However should it evolve like the Coronavirus did, it will be significantly more dangerous. Luckily scientists do believe there is a way to solve it, we just have to start working on it.

Another Vaccine :

Scientists believe that work needs to be done on a vaccine for the Nipah Virus, however instead of just developing one, they claim that we should both develope and stockpile the vaccine. This is in the case that a major outbreak occurs, we will be properly prepared for it.

My Opinion :

I agree that we need to put Counter measures on place to stop the emergence of another major virus. If the Coronavirus Pandemic has taught us anything, it's that we do not know what to expect and we should always be prepared. However I would like to hear what you have to say.
