Miss South Africa Shudufhadzo Musida is launching her online program which will tackle mental illness. She was crowned Miss South Africa last year October where she promised that she will assist in mental issues. Her program will start today Monday the 8th, it will broadcasted on her Instagram account @shudufhadzomusida.
The idol has partnered with (SADAG) South African Depression and Anxiety Group to raise awareness to the public on mental issues. Today she will be hosting Zamo Mbele, a clinical psychologist who is also a board member at SADAG. They will discuss how mental health issues affect victims, the signs that someone is mentally challenged, the number of people affected in our country and how to control it.
The star expressed how bullying has impacted her life. She said she was bullied at a young age when she changed school trying to find herself. Her bullies did not find anything wrong with it while oppressing her. She is concerned people hardly speak openly about mental health issues eventhough it is part of our everyday life
