OPINION : Mandatory vaccination might take away human rights

Going by the president's Ramaphosa's speech last night, he specifically emphasized that vaccination is the only tool for the economy to advance forward with the income fourth wave.

Many people who had been waiting impatiently for his speech had high expectations of another lockdown but we're amazed he mentioned nothing of sort.

This brings us to the conclusion that the country can not survive another lockdown and the only way to go might be forcing people to get vaccinated.President Cyril Ramaphosa has already hinted in his last night address that specific places in future might require pass for only vaccinated people.

If the cases increase in this coming week , the mandatory vaccination law might by introduced. This automatically means that if you don't get vaccinated you might not be able to go out for work , in public transport or be in public spaces.

This leaves one to wonder what happens to the human rights of the people when they are forced to get vaccinated.
