The KZN Premier Mr Sihle Zikalala reportedly expressed concern over the low number of people that have been vaccinated in his province.He was worried that his province had the second lowest number of vaccinated adult s in the country.
Even though his province still has a low number of new Covid-19 infections, people need to be vaccinated against the pandemic that has killed tens of thousands in the country.
As the country is set for the 4th wave in December, he called upon people to get vaccinated in order to help avoid the loss of lives.Experts keep warning that the impact of the 4th wave will be determined by the behavior of people.
As a result, people need to keep adhering to regulations such as wearing of masks and social distancing. Vaccination is one of the most effective means of protection as it reduces hospitalizations and deaths related to Covid-19.
