Funeral Parlours in Soweto made a call to the members of the community to get vaccinated in order to help reduce the number of fatalities related to Covid-19 illnesses .It was reported by SABC news that there were close to forty hearses that were driving around Soweto making calls for the members of the society to get vaccinated .
Funeral Parlours are joining in the fight against Covid-19 as encouraged by the government .As Covid-19 has been identified as one of the major tools to help curb the spread of the pandemic , parlours are busy calling upon people to get vaccinated .
The spokesperson for the Funeral Parlours Association , Sipho Mofokeng revealed that they were burying multiple family members diring the third wave of infections . He said that it also led to them running out of coffins and storage .As the 4th wave is underway , the Parlours came out to encourage people to get vaccinated in order to help restrict hospitalisations and deaths from the pandemic .
