People are surprised after hearing that the head of BioNTech, the German company that developed the first Covid-19 vaccine, said a new formula is likely to be needed by mid-2022 to protect against future mutations of the virus. This is a sign that they could be more variants which will be coming and some people think that this will only affect the unvaccinated. If a new variant arises it is quite obvious that even those who are vaccinated against this one will have to vaccinate again in order to be protected from the new one.
Therefore the only thing which can be done is for people to prevent being in overcrowded spaces and abusing the Freedom that we have been given. Being on level 1 does not mean that this virus has disappeared but the number of infections have declined, they could rise again if people become reckless. People are now partying without masks and there's no social distancing in large gatherings.
